As with the selection of Proven Winners annuals we carry each year at Vander Giessen’s, we’re proud to grow and sell a wide selection of Proven Winners perennials, our preferred brand for unique selections, resistance to insects and disease, and overall performance in your garden year after year. Care for Your Plants

As with anything you grow, perennials thrive with some care, and while it’s true that perennials are less maintenance than some plants, nobody likes to go hungry! Feed your perennials each spring with our recommended plant food for perennials: Jack’s Classicote. Manufactured in Pennsylvania by the same family that makes our hugely popular Jack’s Classic water-soluble plant food for annuals and hanging baskets, Jack’s Classicote is a slow-release fertilizer that provides a consistent level of plant food for three to four months. Feed once in the spring and your plants with thrive with lush growth all season long!
