In November 2021, we were shocked and saddened to see the destructive power of floodwaters damage and destroy so many homes and businesses in our area. Immediately, we began to consider what our business could do to help offset the steep costs property owners would face in the coming months to restore and rebuild their homes and livelihoods.

If you’ve been impacted by the recent floods in Whatcom County, we understand your first priority is getting your home livable again, and we’re so encouraged to see the many volunteers helping to clean out and prepare homes for reconstruction. In the coming months, however–and maybe even immediately–we know you may need gravel to rebuild a washed-out driveway, topsoil to reconstruct flowerbeds and renovate a lawn, or even bark mulch to restore your garden spaces.

As part of our response to help flood victims, we’ve created a flood relief fund to cover the cost of gravel, topsoil, or whatever else you might need to repair flood damage around your yard and driveway. If you’ve had flood damage outdoors that you need to address, please stop in with a pickup or trailer and we’ll load up the bulk products you need at no cost–our flood relief gift card will cover the cost.

If you’d like to donate to help keep our flood relief gift card loaded, please stop in and give what you wish–100% of the money you donate will go directly to covering the cost of products flood victims need to put their lives back together. Thanks to the many generous donations we’ve received, we will keep this relief effort going through spring 2022.

• All bulk products are available for pickup only at this time (delivery is available for an additional charge but is not included in this offer). Please bring a pickup or trailer for us to load into.
• We reserve the right to ask for verification of address to confirm that your property was damaged by flooding.
• We reserve the right to limit how much product we give to an individual to ensure equal access for all parties.
• We are not giving out gift cards but rather using a gift card we have pre-loaded with funds to cover the cost of bulk products to repair flood-damaged driveways and yards. All donations given to flood relief through our business will be loaded onto this gift card to keep the flood relief fund replenished.
