The turkey is thawing, the table is set, and the last preparations are being made for the big day–Thanksgiving is almost here! At Vander Giessen’s, we’ve been busy setting up our Christmas displays, but before we dive into the Christmas season, we want to pause to say thank you. Once again this year, we’ve been richly blessed to be able to serve you, our customers, and to be a part of this community. Whether you visit us once a year or once a week, we are so grateful you’ve chosen to support our family business.

Amidst all the tumult and change in our culture right now, gardening continues to be a safe haven in which to find rest, renewal, and hope for things to come.  Simply put, gardening is good for the soul–and the community-building it creates by uniting neighbors and friends in time spent chatting in the backyard or sharing the bounty of a summer vegetable harvest is invaluable in a world where community is needed more than ever. We’re honored to play a small part in your gardening endeavors and thank you for the opportunity to serve you in this, our 84th year in business.

Again, thank you for your support this year and always. We have been so richly blessed in 2022 and we look forward to continuing to serve you again in the coming year!
